What is a BoldSign document?
BoldSign document is an electronic document with many elements, which can be easily sent out for eSignatures. You can create this document entirely within the BoldSign application by utilizing the various features offered on the Prepare Document page.
To create a new BoldSign document, simply navigate to the Prepare Document page. There, you can add all the necessary fields. Under the Add files
section, you have various options for uploading documents, such as choosing from the computer, cloud, or template, and it also includes other features like Adding recipients and CC.
In the Document
section, the Title and Message for the document can be added. Moving on to the Document Settings
section, you have the option to select a brand, set an expiry date, and more. After filling in the required fields, click the Next
button to proceed to the Configure fields page.
On the Configure fields page, you can add the required form fields to the document. Some of the available form fields include Signature, Name, Textbox, Checkbox, etc. Once the document is set up with the necessary fields, click the Send
button to send it for signature.
The recipients can sign the document electronically by drawing their signature with a mouse or stylus, choosing the default format style, or even uploading a scanned image of their physical signature. Once the signing process is completed, BoldSign generates a final copy of the document and a detailed audit trail of the signing process. If required, you can also download it.
