How to send BoldSign signature requests to new Salesforce contacts?

By using the BoldSign with Zapier integration, you can automatically send signature requests through BoldSign to a newly added contact in Salesforce. In this scenario, Salesforce serves as the trigger app, and BoldSign acts as the action app. To simplify the process, you can use the pre-configured template on the BoldSign Zapier integration page.
To utilize this Zap, you must have a Salesforce account, as shown below.
Follow the below steps to send BoldSign signature requests to new salesforce contacts:
- Navigate to the link Send Boldsign signature requests to new salesforce contacts and review the Zap details, then click the
Try this template
button. - You will be directed to the Zap creation page. Here, add the relevant title at the top of the page.
- Trigger: By default, the trigger app is
Salesforce,
and the trigger event isNew Record.
- Connect your Salesforce account and select
Contact
in theSalesforce objects
field under the Trigger column and click theContinue
button. - Test the trigger to ensure its functionalities and click
Continue
to move to the next section.
- Action: By default,
BoldSign
is the action app, andSend Document
from Template is the action event. - Connect the BoldSign account and choose a pre-set BoldSign template from the drop-down in the
Choose Template
field under the Action column. The label is the only supported form field that can be added to the template. - Select
True
in theSandbox Mode
field to test the integration without consuming API credits. - Fill in any other required fields and click the
Continue
button.
- Then, test the action to ensure its proper functioning.
- Double-check all the details, publish the Zap, and turn it on to activate the automation.
- Hence, whenever a new contact is created on Salesforce. A document will be automatically sent to the signer.
