How to search for specific documents efficiently?
In BoldSign, search filters enable you to perform detailed searches to locate specific documents. When using search filters, you can select the exact criteria you want to apply to your search. If you choose to search using multiple criteria, documents will only be returned if they satisfy all the specified criteria.
Follow the below steps to search for specific documents:
- Select
My Documents
from theDocuments
menu in the left navigation pane. - Click the
Filter
icon on the right side of the search bar to open the Search Filters pane.

Within the search filters pane, use the provided options or drop-down menus to filter documents:
Document Type
: Choose between Sent Documents, Received Documents, or Both.
Document Status
: Specify the status of the document you are looking for. The options include All, Waiting for me, Waiting for others, Needs attention, Declined, Completed, Revoked, and Expired.
Sent By
: Enter the name of the sender.
Recipients
: Specify the recipients of the document
Document Tags
: Apply tags to narrow down your search.
Sent between
: Select a specific date range for the documents you want to search. -
Next, click the
Apply Filter
button to apply the search.
- Now, you can see a list of documents that meet all the criteria you’ve specified.
