How to replace the document in the template?

Replacing a document is helpful when changes have been made to the uploaded document or if the wrong document was uploaded. You can perform this replacement either while creating the template or when using or editing the existing template.
The “Replace” option can be used in various scenarios. For example, if the template is saved and you intend to use it for a signature with the same role but a different document.

Follow the below steps to replace the document in the template:

  • Click on the Templates menu and select My Templates option.
  • You will be taken to the My Templates page.
  • On the My Templates page, click on the context menu of the document you wish to edit and choose the Edit template option.

  • You will be taken to the Prepare Template page, where you can replace the document by clicking the Replace option in the Add file(s) section.

Replace option

  • You also have an option to replace the document while sending it out for signature using the Use template option.
  • You can even replace the document while creating the template. Once the document is successfully uploaded, the Replace and Remove options will become visible. If you uploaded the incorrect document, you can replace it with another document by clicking the Replace option.
