How to sync form fields and auto-fill the data?

BoldSign allows users to sync the form fields using the Data Sync Tag feature. When you link multiple similar form fields and input a value in one of them, that value will be automatically filled into the corresponding synced fields. This functionality is compatible with Textbox, Label, Checkbox, Dropdown, Image, and Editable date form fields.

Follow the steps below to sync form fields and auto-fill the data:

• Click the Create New button on the dashboard and select the Create New Document option.
• Fill in all the required fields on the Prepare document for signing page.
• Click Next to move to the Configure fields page.
• Drag and drop two or more form fields of the same type into the document.
• If you select the Editable date form field. The settings will open on the right side of the page.
• Look for the Data Sync Tag field and enter a value. Make sure not to use special characters in the Data Sync Tag field.
• Enter the same value in the Data Sync Tag field of another Editable date form field that you want to sync. The Editable date fields with the same Data Sync Tag values will be synchronized.
• Now, click the Send button to send the document for signature.
   

• When the signer enters a value in one field, that value will be automatically filled in all the fields that are synced with the same Data Sync Tag.
   

• Similarly, you can sync Textbox, Label, Checkbox, Dropdown, and Image form fields.
