What is the fixed width option in form fields?

In BoldSign, the fixed width option in form fields enables you to set character limits for the form fields during the document creation process. The character limit in form fields refers to the maximum number of characters that a user is allowed to input into a specific form field.

These limits serve as guidelines for signers, indicating the expected length of input. This can be helpful in situations where a specific format or length is required, such as phone numbers, zip codes, or credit card numbers.

For instance, when you set the character limit to 10 in a textbox field, the signer will not be able to exceed the specified character limit. By default, the character limit is set at 50 but you can always increase or decrease depending on your needs and preferences.
