Can I move a user from one team to another?
In BoldSign, the account administrator and the team administrator can move a user from one team to another. The account administrator can move any user to another team, while the team administrator can only move a user within their designated team.
Follow the steps below to move a user from one team to another:
- Go to the Users & Teams menu, click on
Teams
, and you will be directed to the Teams page. - On the Teams page, select the team where the user you wish to move is located.
- Click the Context menu at the end of the user you want to move, and a list of options will be displayed.
- Select the
Change Team
option.

A dialog box will pop up. Select the team that you would like the user to be transferred to from the Team field.

You can choose what to do with the user’s existing documents. When you choose the Take documents to the new team option, the user will retain ownership of the existing documents.

When you choose the Transfer documents to another user option, you will be required to select the user to whom you want to move the documents. The in-progress documents will be declined or revoked.

After making your selection, click the
Confirm
button, and the user will be moved successfully.
