Can I delete a document after sending it?

In BoldSign, you can delete a document only if it is Completed, Expired, Declined, or Revoked. You cannot delete an in-progress document. If you want to delete an in-progress document, you must first revoke the document and then delete it.

Follow the below steps to delete the document:

  • Select My Documents from the Documents menu to go to the My Documents page.
  • On the My Documents page, click on the context menu of the document you want to delete and select the Delete option.

  • To delete an in-progress document, change its status to Revoked and then proceed to delete it.

Revoke option

  • Once the document is deleted, it will be moved to the trash folder, where it will remain for 30 days before being permanently deleted.
  • If you want to permanently delete the document, go to the Trash folder, and select the Delete forever option from the context menu.

Note: A document cannot be recovered once it is permanently deleted.
