Can I customize the authentication requirements for different signers?

Yes, in BoldSign, you can customize the authentication requirements for different signers by choosing from the supported authentication options: Email OTP, SMS OTP, and Access code during the document creation process. Signers will be required to enter a verification code to access and sign the document.

Follow the below steps to customize the authentication requirements for different signers:

  • Click Create New, go to Create New Document and you will be directed to the Prepare Document for signing page.
  • Add files on the Add files section and add Recipients.
  • Click the dropdown arrow on the Settings section below the recipient field and enable the Authentication option.
  • A drop-down menu with Email OTP SMS OTP, and Access code options will appear. Select any one of the authentication methods for all signers.
  • Then, add the form fields on the configure fields page and send the document for signature.
  • Now, based on the selected authentication method, each signer will be prompted to undergo the verification process when they open the document.

Authentication feature

  • For example, if you choose the Email OTP option, an OTP is sent to the signer’s email address. The signer must enter the received code to access the document.
