How to allow sender to manage files while using templates?

In BoldSign, when creating templates, you can allow senders to manage files while using templates. This capability allows users to engage with files in a manner that suits their preferences and requirements. Such management actions include adding more files, replacing, rearranging, and deleting files.

Follow the steps below to allow sender to manage files while using templates:

  • Click on Create New, go to Create New Template and you will be directed to the Prepare template page.
  • On the prepare template page, enter the template title in the Title field and the description in the Description field.
  • Then add files in the Add files section and role in the Add role(s) section.
  • The Default recipient name and email address are optional, and you can add them if needed or while using the template.

  • On the Template Usage Settings, under the Files section, you can find the Allow sender to add more files and Allow sender to replace, rearrange and delete files options. These options are enabled by default, however they can be disabled if needed.
  • If you enable the Allow sender to add more files option, the sender will be able to add more files while using the template.
  • Likewise, if you enable the Allow sender to replace, rearrange, and delete files option, the sender will be able to replace, rearrange, and delete files while using the template.

Files section

  • Fill in other required fields and click Next to go to the configure fields page.
  • On the configure fields page, add the required fields, and click the Save template button. The template will be created successfully.

  • Now while using templates, the sender will be able to add more files, replace, rearrange, and delete files.
