How to allow signers to add form fields while signing?

In BoldSign, during the document creation process, you can allow signers to add form fields while signing the document by enabling the Allow Field Configuration option. When signing the document, signers will be able to add the necessary form fields onto the document and fill them out to successfully conclude the signing process.
Follow the steps below to allow signers to add form fields while signing:
- Click on
Create New
, go toCreate New Document
and you will be directed to the Prepare document for signing page. - Add files on the Add files section and add Recipients.
- Click on the Settings dropdown below the recipient field and enable the
Allow Field Configuration
option.
- Fill in all the other required fields and click
Next
to go to the configure fields page. - On the configure fields page, add the required fields if needed; otherwise, you can simply send the document without the fields.
- When you click the send button, the following icon message appears, confirming that signers can add form fields while signing the document.
- Now when the signer opens the document, the form fields will be displayed on the left side of the signing page.
- The signer can drag and drop the required form fields onto the document and fill them out to complete the signing process.
