In BoldSign, the Allow sender to edit the document message before sending option on the Prepare template page enables the sender to edit the document message while using templates. This ensures that each document’s message aligns with the specific needs of the sender.
Follow the steps below to allow senders to edit the document message while using templates:
- Click on
Create New
, go toCreate New Template
and you will be directed to the Prepare template page. - On the prepare template page, enter the template title in the Title field and the description in the Description field.
- Then add files in the Add files section and role in the Add role(s) section.
- The Default recipient name and email address are optional, and you can add them if needed or while using the template.
- On the Document section, add the document Title and Message in the respective fields.
- Then, on the Template Usage Settings, under the Document message section, you can find the
Allow sender to edit the document message before sending
option. By default, this option is enabled, and can be disabled if required. - If you enable the Allow sender to edit the document message before sending option, the sender will be able to edit the document message while using the template.
- Fill in other required fields and click
Next
to go to the configure fields page. - On the configure fields page, add the required fields, and click the
Save template
button. The template will be created successfully.
- Now while using the template, the sender will be able to edit the document message.
