Yes. In BoldSign, you have the option to alert users on the expiration of the document by enabling the Alert 1 day before expiry option. You can enable an alert during the document creation process or configure a default alert from the Business Profile page.

Follow the steps below to alert users on expiration:

  • Click on Create New, go to Create New Document and you will be directed to the Prepare document for signing page.
  • Add files on the Add files section and add recipients.
  • On the Document settings, under the Expires in section, set the expiry date of the document.
  • Then click on the checkbox to enable the Alert 1 day before expiry option and send the document for signature.

  • Now, the document expiration alert has been set successfully and the signer will receive a document expiration alert email 1 day before the document expiry.

  • If the expiry date is within 1 day, then the reminder alert will be sent 2 hours before expiry.

  • Alternatively, you can set a default alert by enabling the Expiry Alert option on the Business Profile page.

  • By enabling this option on the Business Profile page, all the documents sent will have an expiry alert 1 day before the expiry.
