How to add identity verification authentication to an existing document?

In BoldSign, senders have the capability to enhance document security by enabling identity verification for signers within existing documents. This process ensures robust authentication measures for signer transactions. Follow these steps to add identity verification authentication to an existing document:

  1. Access the My Documents Page: Begin by navigating to the My Documents page, accessible from the sidebar menu.

  2. Open Document Overview: Identify the document to which you wish to add identity verification authentication and click on it to open the document overview page.

  1. Initiate Authentication Setup: Within the document overview page, locate the signer for whom you want to enable identity verification. Click on the more options icon next to the signer’s name and select Add authentication. Then, choose ID Verification from the dropdown menu to access the ID Verification settings for the signer.

  1. Customize Authentication Settings: You will be presented with various options to customize the authentication settings according to your requirements. These options include setting the frequency of authentication, specifying the number of retries allowed, enabling selfie and live capture, and configuring the name matcher. Customize these settings as needed to align with your authentication preferences.

  1. Enable Identity Verification: Once you’ve configured the authentication settings, click on the Add button to enable identity verification for the signer.
