How to set expiry date for bulk link documents?

BoldSign offers the functionality to set an expiration date for bulk link documents. This ensures that your bulk link documents are only accessible for a specified duration.
Follow the steps below to set an expiry date for bulk link documents.
- Click the
Create New
button and select theCreate New Bulk Link
option. - You will be directed to the Prepare Bulk Link Document page. Fill in the document Title, Welcome message and Acknowledgement message in the respective fields.
- Then scroll down to the Document settings section and enable the
Expiry date
option. By default, the Expiry date option is disabled and can be enabled if required. - Click the
Expiry date
field and enter the number of days after which you want the bulk link document to expire. The default expiry date is set to 60 days. - You can select the
Alert 1 day before expiry
option to receive an alert 1 day before document expiry. - You can also enable the
Auto reminder
option using the toggle button. Specify how frequently the reminders should be sent after the first one by adding the number of days in theRemind every
field. The maximum number of reminders you can set is 5.
- Then click
Next
to go to the configure fields page. - On the configure fields page, drag and drop the required form fields onto the document and click the
Create Bulk Link
button. The bulk link will be created successfully.
- Now, you can share the bulk link with the signers. The expiry date will be calculated from the document’s creation date.
- The signer will receive automatic reminders based on the specified frequency and number of reminders.
- Once the bulk link document is expired, it cannot be accessed by signers.
Modify the expiry date set for the bulk link documents
You can also modify the expiration date after the bulk link has been created.
Follow the steps below to modify the expiration date:
- Click the
Bulk Links
menu and select theMy Bulk Links
option to go to the My Bulk Links page. - Click the context menu of the bulk link document you want to edit and select the
Edit bulk link
option.
- You will be taken to the Prepare Bulk Link Document page where you edit the bulk link expiry date and save the Bulk link.
