You can edit non-editable PDFs using the label form field. Simply match the background color of the label form field with the PDF page color, add the text you need, and adjust the font settings to match the existing text. This ensures that the new text seamlessly blends in with the document. Once done, you can send the document with the added text, giving the impression that the PDF content has been edited.
Follow the steps below to make non-editable PDFs editable using the label form field:
- Click the
Create new
button from the dashboard and selectCreate New Document
. - Complete all the required fields on the Prepare document page and click
Next
to proceed to the Configure Fields page.
- Drag and drop the label form field onto the document.
- Click on the label field to open its settings on the right side of the page. In the Label settings pane, scroll down to find the
Background Color
option. - Click on the color picker to choose your desired background color.
- Once you have selected a color, click the
Apply
button to apply the chosen color to the label form field. - For example, if you want to edit part of the content, place the label field over the content and set the background color to match the PDF background color. Then, add the desired content in the label form field and send the document.
- When the signer opens the document, the new content will seamlessly blend with the PDF, providing a uniform appearance.
