How to add an editable date field to the document?

The editable date form field allows the signer to add a date to the document while signing. This field can be added to the document while creating it. You can specify a date range so that the signer can select the date within that range. If you didn’t specify the date range, then the signer can select any date from the calendar.
Follow the steps below to add an editable date field to the document:
- Click
Create Newbutton from the dashboard and select theCreate New Documentoption. - After filling in all the required fields on the first page, click
Nextto move to the Configure fields page. - You can find all the fields on the left side of the page.
- Select the
Editable datefield and drag it to the desired location in the document. - Then, select the date format and font style using the dropdown in the
Date FormatandFont fieldson the right side of the page. - You can add the default date in the
Default Datefield which will be displayed to the signer as a pre-filled value. You can also add multiple editable date fields and sync them using theData Sync Tagoption. - To select a date range, click the calendar button in the
Date Rangefield, choose the Start Date and End Date, and then clickApply. - The selected date range will be filled in the date range text box.
- Now, click the
Sendbutton.
- Once the document is sent, the signer will be able to select a date within the specified range in the Editable Date field.
