How to save the completed document's audit trail to a SharePoint folder?

You can integrate BoldSign with SharePoint via Power Automate to store the completed document’s Audit trail in SharePoint. In this setup, BoldSign serves as the trigger app while SharePoint is the Action app.

Follow the steps below to save the completed document’s Audit trail to a SharePoint folder:

  • Open the link Power Automate and create your Power Automate account.

  • Then connect your BoldSign account with the Power Automate account by clicking the Connections option and adding BoldSign as the connection.

Connections

  • Once you have created the connection, click Create, navigate to My flows, and select New flow to create your workflow.

  • A Designer page will open. Disable the New designer button.

Trigger page

  • You will be directed to the trigger page. Choose BoldSign as the trigger app.

  • Then choose a Webhook event as Completed and click the New step button.

  • You will be directed to the Choose operation section, select the BoldSign app and click the Download Audit trail option.

Download audit trail

  • Map the document ID in the Document Id field.

Document ID

  • In the Operations section choose SharePoint as the action app.
  • Then click Create file as the action which will save the completed document’s audit trail to a SharePoint folder.

Create file

  • Enter the SharePoint parameters by entering details in the Site Address, File Path, File Name and File content fields.

Parameters

  • Once done click the Save button.
  • You have successfully integrated BoldSign with SharePoint using Power Automate. Now, whenever a document is completed, the Audit trail will automatically be saved to the SharePoint folder.
