An audit trail document provides a detailed record of all activities related to a document, including the document ID, name, sender, signer, IP address, and timestamps. The timestamps offer precise details of when each action occurred, such as signing or sending, and are recorded in the format HH:MM:SS. This document can be downloaded once all signers have completed the signing process.
Follow the steps below to download and view the full timestamp on the audit trail document:
- On the Dashboard page, go to the
Documents
menu and selectMy Documents
. This will take you to the My Documents page, where a list of all your documents is displayed. - Locate the document from which you wish to download the audit trail.
- Hover over the document and click the context menu (three vertical dots).
- Select
Download audit trail
from the list of options.
- Alternatively, you can access the
Download audit trail
option from the document’s overview page by clicking on the document. - On the Overview page, click the
More actions
button in the top-right corner, then selectDownload audit trail
from the dropdown options.
- The audit trail document will be automatically downloaded to your device.
- The downloaded audit trail document contains detailed information about the document and the signing process, including the document ID, name, sender, signer, IP address, and timestamps. The timestamps record each action, such as when the document was sent, viewed, and signed, in the specific format HH:MM:SS (hour:minute:second). These timestamps are unchangeable and ensure accuracy and security.
