How to clone or duplicate existing documents in the BoldSign mobile app?

Cloning a document in the BoldSign mobile app allows you to quickly create a duplicate of an existing document with the same files and settings but with a unique document ID. This feature saves time by eliminating the need to start from scratch when sending similar documents.
Follow the below steps to clone or duplicate a document:
- Log in to your BoldSign mobile app account.
- Tap the
Documentsicon on the bottom navigation bar and navigating to the Documents screen.
- Tap the context menu of the document you want to clone and select
Clone document.
- When you choose the
Clone documentoption, a bottom sheet will appear with two choices:Without form field valuesandWith form field values.
- If you select
Without form field values, the cloned document will not retain any form field data. All fields will be empty in the new document. - If you choose
With form field values, the cloned document will retain the form field values from the original document, if any data exists. However, some field values will not be retained due to security and functionality limitations. - The following fields will appear after cloning, but their values will not be retained:
- Signature
- Initial
- Image
- Attachment
- Company
- Title
- After selecting the desired clone type, tap the
Clonebutton.
- You will be taken to the Prepare document screen of the cloned document, where you can update the uploaded documents, recipient details, configure form fields, and make any additional settings changes before sending the document.
