How to auto-detect the form fields in a PDF document?

When you upload the fillable form document for creating a signature request, the fields added to the fillable form can be automatically detected and replaced with the equivalent BoldSign form fields. BoldSign supports Textbox, Checkbox, Radio button, Dropdown, and Signature form fields. Other fields will not be detected as of now.

Follow the steps below to auto-detect form fields from a PDF document:

• Click Create New and select the Create New Document option.
• Upload the PDF document with a fillable form in the Add file(s) section, then fill in all the required fields and click Next to move to the Configure fields page.
• A message will be displayed at the top of the page to create BoldSign form fields. Click the Create option near the message.
• In the below example, a PDF document with three text box fields is uploaded.

• Now, all the fields will be replaced with the equivalent BoldSign form fields.
• When you click the field, the settings menu will open on the right side of the page.
• Make required customizations as needed and click the Send Button.
