Once a document is revoked, it cannot be restored or reactivated. You can, however, clone the revoked document and resend it to the signers. Cloning creates a new version with the same content and fields, making it easy to resend it to signers without recreating the document from scratch.
Follow the steps below to clone or duplicate a document.
- Go to Documents section and click
My Documents
. - Then, select the revoked document you want to resend. You will find the
Clone document
option in the context menu.
- Alternatively, you can click on the document to navigate to its overview page. Then, click the
More Actions
button, where you will find theClone document
option.
- When you choose the Clone document option, a
Clone Document
dialog box will appear with two options:Without form field values
andWith form field values
.
- If you select the
Without form field values option
, the cloned document will not retain any form field values, and all fields will be empty in the new document. - If you choose the
With form field values
option, the cloned document will retain the form field values from the original document if they contain data. However, certain form field values may not be retained due to security and functionality limitations. - Select the desired clone type, then click the
Clone
button. - This will take you to the editing page of the cloned document, where you can modify existing settings and make any additional changes before sending the document for signing.
