These form fields allow you to customize their settings based on your specific requirements. Each form field comes with a set of properties that can be adjusted to fit the needs of your document, ensuring a seamless signing experience for all parties involved.

The following form fields and their properties are available in BoldSign:

Signature Field

The Signature field allows the signer to place their electronic signature on the document. It’s essential for legally binding agreements, contracts, or any document requiring a signature.

Property Description
ID A unique identifier for this signature field.
Position The location on the document where the signature field is placed.
Tab Index The order in which the user navigates to this field using the ‘Tab’ key.
Required Whether the field must be filled in by the signer (Yes/No).
Validation Ensures that the signer actually signs the field.
Conditional Logic Allows the field to appear or disappear based on other conditions.
Additional Settings Adjust the style of the signature (e.g., stroke color or thickness).

Initials Field

This field allows the signer to enter their initials, often used for quick acknowledgment of specific sections or clauses of a document.

Property Description
ID A unique identifier for this initials field.
Position The location on the document where the initials field is placed.
Tab Index The order in which the user can tab through to this field
Required Whether entering initials is mandatory (Yes/No).
Validation Ensures that the signer’s initials are entered.

Textbox Field

A Textbox field allows the signer to enter free-form text, such as a name, address, or any other information that needs to be filled in.

Auto Positioning Determines whether the field moves automatically to fit the layout.
