Why is the attachment form field not showing in the form field configuration?

If the attachment field is not visible on the Prepare page while creating document, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

Print and Sign option enabled

The Print and Sign option may be enabled in your Business Profile under Document Settings. When this option is enabled, attachment fields are not supported.

To resolve this, navigate to your Business Profile settings, disable the Print and Sign option, and click Save Changes'

Make sure that the ‘Allow signers to print and sign’ option is disabled when creating the document. If this option is enabled, attachment fields will not be available during document preparation.

After making these changes, try creating document again and check if the attachment field is now visible on the form field Configure page.

Please note that, Attachment fields are not supported for self-signing. If the template is being used for self-signing, the attachment field will not appear. These fields are only available when the document is sent to another signer.
