Can I prevent a document from expiring in BoldSign?

Published:
1 min read

In BoldSign, documents have a default expiration of 60 days and cannot be set to never expire. However, you can extend the expiration date on the Business Profile page or adjust it when creating the document to suit your needs.

Follow the steps below to adjust the expiration date for a document:

  • Navigate to the Business Profile page by selecting Business Profile from the Settings menu.
  • Scroll down to the Default Expiry Date Type section on the Settings tab.
  • By default, the Days option is displayed. Click on the dropdown arrow to view other expiry date type options.
  • Select the desired option. You can also enable the Expiry Alert option for the signer to receive a document expiration alert 1 day before the expiry.
  • Then click the Save changes button.
  • Now the document expiration date has been set successfully and will be automatically applied when sending the document for signature.
