How to reassign a document on mobile app?

Reassigning a document in the BoldSign mobile app allows you to transfer signing responsibility from one individual to another. This feature is especially useful when the original signer is unavailable or when the task needs to be delegated to a more suitable person. Both the signer and their admin have the ability to initiate a reassignment, and all involved parties will be notified once the change is made.
Follow the steps below to reassign a document to another user:
- Log in to your BoldSign mobile app account.
- Tap the
Documents
icon on the bottom navigation bar to access your list of documents.
- Locate the document that requires your signature and tap its context menu (three vertical dots).
- Choose the
Re-assign
option.
- The Re-assign screen will appear. Enter the name and email address of the new signer.
- Add a reason for reassigning the document in the provided field.
- After entering all the required details, tap the
Re-assign
button.

The document will be reassigned successfully.

Alternatively, you can reassign the document directly from the signing screen:

On the signing page, tap the context menu at the top-right corner.

Select the
Re-assign
option.
- Enter the intended signer’s name and email address, and provide the reason for reassignment.
- Tap the
Re-assign
button to complete the process.
