Rebranding or whitelabeling via BoldSign API

BoldSign offers flexible branding capabilities via its API, allowing you to personalize the appearance of emails sent to recipients and the document signing page. You can incorporate your brand’s logo, name, color and other visual elements to create a cohesive and professional signing experience that reflects your identity.

Personalizing the signing experience

BoldSign allows you to create and manage multiple brands in your BoldSign account and apply them to documents during the signature request process.

You can define a brand with custom elements like:

  • Brand name: Set a name for your brand, which can be configured as the default brand for all eSignature-related transactions on your account.
  • Brand Logo: Upload your company’s logo to be displayed in emails, signing pages, and audit trails; supported formats include JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg), PNG (.png), and SVG (.svg), with a maximum file size of 512KB.
  • Background and Button Color: You can customize the background color of the emails sent to signers, as well as the button background color and the button text color to match your brand’s style.
  • Email Display Name: You can optionally specify the From name that will be shown in emails. {SenderName} is a placeholder that will be replaced by the actual sender name. The default value is {SenderName} via Your company name.
  • Redirect to URL on document completion: Signers and reviewers will be redirected to the specified URL after they have completed the signing process.
  • Disclaimer: You may also include a custom disclaimer that signers must agree to, in addition to the standard Electronic Signature Disclosure Terms
  • Custom Domain: To enhance brand identity and professionalism, you can personalize your email domain using the CustomDomainSettings property. This allows you to customize the sender’s name and subdomain, such as mail.yourcompany.com.
  • Option to show/hide “Powered by BoldSign”: You also have the option to show or hide the Powered by BoldSign label in the emails sent to signers.
  • Document time zone: Customize the time zone displayed in the audit trail and the date signed field.
  • CombineAuditTrail: Combines the signed document and the audit trail into a single file.
  • CombineAttachments: This property combines attachments with the signed document.
  • EmailSignedDocument: You can enable/disable this property to enable/disable the attachments in the final completion email.
  • HideDecline: You can enable/disable this option to prevent/allow signers to decline the document during the signing process.
  • HideSave: You can enable/disable this option to prevent/allow signers to save their changes during the signing process and continue to sign later.
  • ShowBuiltInFormFields: Allows users in the organization to view standard form fields.
  • AllowCustomFieldCreation: Allows users in the organization to create custom form fields…
  • ShowSharedCustomFields: Enabling this option allows users in the organization to view the shared custom form fields.
  • ExcludeAuditTrailFromEmail: You can enable/disable this option to exclude/ include the audit trail document from the completion email.
  • DocumentExpiry settings: This property sets the default expiry date and reminder settings of the document.

NOTE: When creating a brand with custom domain settings, please create a ticket to support@boldsign.com to verify the domain name. Include the domain details and Brand ID in your ticket. Once we receive this information, we will provide the DKIM-DNS records and custom mail DNS records for your domain. You’ll need to add these records to your DNS settings and inform us once this is done. We will then activate the domain on our end, allowing emails to be sent from your specified domain.

Please note, there is an additional charge of $5 for each extra custom domain.
