How to generate AI-based form fields during Template creation in mobile app?

The BoldSign mobile app allows you to create templates quickly using AI-powered form field detection. Instead of manually adding form fields to your document, this feature intelligently scans your uploaded PDF or Word files and automatically places the appropriate fields.
Supported form fields
The AI automatically places the following field types:
- Signature
- Textbox
- Date Signed
- Checkbox
- Radio Button
Generating AI-based form fields
Follow the steps below to generate the AI-based form fields while creating templates:
- From the Dashboard screen, tap the
+button and selectCreate New Template.
- On the Upload Documents screen, upload the required files in PDF or Word format.
- On the Add Recipient screen, enter the necessary
rolesandrecipient details, then tapNext. - On the Prepare Template screen, provide the Template title, Description, and adjust any required settings. Tap
Nextto continue. - On the Configure Fields screen, locate the
AIicon at the top in the app bar section and tap it.
- A confirmation bottom sheet will appear. Tap
Place Fields with AIto proceed.
- AI-generated fields will be marked with a
✨icon. You can reposition, resize, or remove these fields to suit your document layout.
- Tap on any field to access its settings. For templates with multiple roles, you can change or reassign fields to a different role using the Assigned to section.
- To delete a specific AI-generated form field, tap on the field to select it. Then, use the
Deleteicon from the sliding button panel to remove it.
- To remove all AI-generated form fields at once, tap the
Dropdownmenu next to theAIicon in the app bar and selectRemove all AI fields. A confirmation prompt will appear. Once confirmed, all form fields added by AI will be removed. This action will not affect any fields that were manually placed on the document.
AI-based form field detection and generation process
