How to allow initiators to add CC recipients in bulk link document?
Published:
BoldSign now supports adding CC (Carbon Copy) recipients during bulk link document initiation. This enhancement allows initiators to specify CC recipients for each document generated through the bulk link process, ensuring improved communication, transparency, and visibility for all stakeholders involved in the signing workflow.
Follow the steps below to allow the initiator to add CC:
- Click Create New and select Create New Bulk Link.
- Upload your document, then enter the title and any other required details.
- In the Add CC section, enable the Allow initiator to add CC recipients toggle.
- Click Next to proceed to the Configure Fields page, and add the necessary form fields.
- After configuring all fields, click Create Bulk Link.
- Your bulk link will now be created successfully, and you can share it with signers.
How “Allow Initiator to Add CC” works on the bulk link sign page
- When a signer opens the bulk link and the Allow Initiator to Add CCs option is enabled, and there are available CC slots, the CC section will appear on the bulk link sign page.
- The initiator can then enter CC recipients for the specific document being generated from the bulk link.
- If email format validation was configured during bulk link creation, the same validation rules will apply to any CC recipients added on the bulk link sign page.
Note: CC recipients configured by the bulk link creator will not be shown on the initiation page.
Limitations
- The bulk link initiator cannot be added as a CC recipient.
- The sender of the bulk link cannot be added as a CC recipient.
- Signers of the document cannot be added as CC recipients.
- If the sender’s CC recipient limit has been reached, no additional CC recipients can be added during the bulk link initiation process.
