How to send signature request using BoldSign template from Salesforce?

Salesforce users can request signatures directly from BoldSign Signature LWC components within their records. Users can initiate signature requests using either predefined templates or newly uploaded documents.
Who can send signature requests
- Salesforce users with the BoldSign User permission set.
- Users who have connected their BoldSign account.
Steps to send signature request from template
Once templates are configured by the admin and the user is connected to BoldSign, users can send signature requests directly from Salesforce using those templates.
This action is performed from the BoldSign Signatures Lightning Web Component on the Salesforce record.
Follow the below steps to send signature requests from Salesforce records:
- Open a supported Salesforce record.
- Locate the BoldSign Signatures component on the record page.
- Select a template configured by the admin.
- Click Send for Signature.
- Review or update recipient details (auto-filled based on the configured mapping).
- Select recipients from available source options:
* Manual entry
* Salesforce Contact
* Related Contacts from the record - Verify the prefilled document fields.
- Send the document to the recipients.
- You will be redirected back to the same Salesforce record after the request is sent.
What happens after sending
- The document is sent to recipients via email.
- Document status updates are reflected in Salesforce.
- The request appears in the BoldSign Document Status component.
Key notes
- Only templates configured in Salesforce are available for selection.
- Recipient and field mapping defined by the admin are applied automatically.
- Users can track progress at the record level.
