How to set character spacing for form fields on mobile app?

Published:

Character spacing gives you control over the distance between letters, numbers, and symbols. In the BoldSign mobile app, you can adjust this setting for both text box and label form fields. By default, the character spacing value is set to zero. If you enter a value that’s too large, the app will automatically cap it based on the font size and the available space in the field to ensure the text remains readable.

Follow the steps below to set character spacing for the text box field:

  • On the Dashboard screen, tap the + button in the bottom navigation bar and select Create New Document.

  • In the Settings screen, go to the Font tab. Scroll down to Character spacing and adjust it using the increment or decrement buttons. Repeat the same steps for the Label field if character spacing needs to be applied there as well.

Therefore, when the signer enters a value in the text box, it will appear with the specified character spacing.
