How to change an auto-filled signature before completing a document?

You can update or replace your auto-filled signature in BoldSign before completing a document. This is useful if the signature is incorrect, you need a different style, or it has been placed incorrectly. Once the document is completed, it is locked and cannot be modified.

Why signatures are auto-filled?

BoldSign automatically fills your signature to speed up the signing process.

• If you have a saved signature in your account and a signature field is assigned to you, BoldSign automatically fills the field with your saved or last-used signature when you open the document. You can change this auto-filled signature if needed.

Steps to change an auto-filled signature

Follow these steps to update your signature before completing the document:

• Open the document in the signing view.

• Click the auto-filled signature field.
• Select Clear or Change Sign.

• Add or choose the correct signature.

• Click Finish.
