How to add tags to templates in the BoldSign mobile app?

In the BoldSign mobile app, tags help you organize templates and quickly find them using filters. By adding tags, you can group related templates and improve search efficiency.

You can add tags while creating a template or update them later. A single template can have multiple tags.

Adding tags while creating templates

Open template creation

  • Open the BoldSign mobile app, tap Create New, and select Create New Template.

Upload documents

  • On the Prepare Template page, upload your document in the Upload Documents section.

  • Add roles in the Add Role(s) section
  • Enter the Title and Description

  • Scroll to Template Settings, then enter values in the Tags field.

  • Go to the Configure Fields page and assign the required form fields.

  • Tap Create Template to save.

Adding/removing tags from existing templates

From My Templates page

  • Tap My Templates, to view the template list.
  • Find the template you want to update and tap the context menu (three dots) next to it.
  • If no tags exist, tap Add tags.

  • If tags are already added, tap Manage tags.

  • Add or remove tags as needed and tap Add tags to save your changes.

Organizing templates using tags

  • Tap My Templates, All templates, or Shared templates from the template menu. Then, go to the advanced filter option and select Tags.
  • After selecting the tags, click the Apply Filter button to view all templates associated with the selected tags.

  • Once the filter is applied, the Pin filter and Clear all filters options appear at the top of the screen.

  • To pin the filter, click the Pin filter icon. A pop-up will appear prompting you to enter a widget name.
  • Enter a name for the filter and click the Save button. The filtered templates will then be pinned to the Dashboard.

  • On the Dashboard page, you can view the pinned filtered templates along with the widget name.
  • You can rename or delete filter from the Dashboard by clicking the context menu.
