When configuring form fields, missing or incorrect settings can prevent a document from being sent. The BoldSign mobile app automatically detects such issues and notifies you with:
- Visual indicators on invalid fields.
- Inline error messages for quick correction.
- A summary validation alert before sending the document.
How form field validation works?
- Open your document in the BoldSign mobile app.
- Go to the
Configure Fieldsscreen. - Add or edit the necessary form fields.
- Tap
Send Document.
If any field is not properly configured, a validation alert will appear and prevent the document from being sent.
Common validation errors
You may encounter validation alerts in the following scenarios:
- Image field without a title.
- Attachment field without a title.
- Hyperlink field with missing or invalid values.
- Dropdown field without defined options.
