If your passkey is stored on a mobile device but you are signing in from a computer:
- Click Sign in with passkey on your computer’s browser.
- In the passkey prompt, select the option to use an iPhone, iPad, or Android device.
- A QR code appears on your computer screen.
- Scan the QR code using the camera on your mobile device where the passkey is stored.
- Complete authentication using biometric verification or your device PIN.
Keep both devices nearby and ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both devices if prompted by your browser or operating system.
Troubleshooting
-
What if the passkey window is closed or cancelled?
- You will remain on the BoldSign sign-in page. Click Sign in with passkey again to restart the authentication process or choose another available sign-in method, such as email and password or Single Sign-On (SSO).
-
What if my device does not recognize the passkey?
- Ensure that you are using the device, browser profile, or hardware security key where the passkey was originally created.
- If the passkey is unavailable, sign in using another authentication method and register a new passkey from Settings > My Profile > Passkeys.
