1 min read

Expiration refers to the date and time after which the document can no longer be accessed for signing. The recipients added to the document should complete the signing work before the deadline. The document will expire if the task is not completed by the specified date and time. In BoldSign, the expiration type can be set to days, hours, or a specific date and time.

Follow the steps below to expire the document on a specific date and time:

  • Click the Settings menu and select the Business Profile option.
  • You can find the Default Expiry Date Type in the Document settings section.
  • In the Default Expiry Date Type, the type is set to Days by default.
  • Click the dropdown and select the Specific Date and Time option.

Specific date and time

  • The default expiry date type will be changed to Specific Date and Time and displayed while creating the document.
  • You must select the date and time for the document’s expiration in the Expires on column and send it for signing.
