How to share a template to other teams?

Sharing a template refers to making it available to others so they can create new documents. It can be convenient and efficient to make a pre-designed and formatted document available to others, saving time and effort and ensuring that documents follow a consistent format. A user can share a template with any team.

There are two different access to select from if a template is shared with another team:

  1. “Can use” access: The shared user can only use the template but cannot edit it if can use access is enabled.

  1. “Can edit” access: The user can edit and share the template if can edit access is enabled.

Follow the below steps to share a template with other teams:

  • Click the Shared Templates option from the Templates menu and select a template from the list.
  • Click the Share option from the context drop-down menu.
  • Select the team from the teams drop-down and click the Add button.
  • Select access for the team and click the Share button.
  • Now, the template is successfully shared with another team.

In Can edit access, the user can edit all the details about the template, After completion, the user can save the template, and everyone who uses the template will see all of these changes.
