What are the supported BoldSign triggers and actions in Zapier?

In Zapier, triggers and actions work together to create workflows that automate your work processes and connect different apps and services. A trigger is an event that initiates an action when a specific condition is achieved. Actions are operations that are performed on an app when a trigger event meets a specific condition.

Supported Triggers

  • Document Completed: Triggers when all signers have completed the document.
  • Document Sent: Triggers when a document is sent to a signer.
  • Document Declined: Triggers when a document is declined by the signer.

When creating a Zap, you can select any of the above triggers. Based on the selected trigger, details will be fetched from BoldSign to perform the associated action.

For instance, if you select the Document Completed trigger, the details of the completed document will be fetched from BoldSign. You can then set up an action that will be performed automatically, such as storing the completed document on a cloud storage service like Google Drive or Dropbox.

Supported Action

  • Send Document from Template: This action allows to automatically create and send the document for signature from BoldSign when a specific condition is met in another app.

For instance, if you create a Zap to send a BoldSign signature request automatically when a Google form is submitted, the details will be fetched automatically from the Google form once the recipient has submitted and used to generate a document using the BoldSign template. The created document will then be sent to the signer for signature. You can view the sent document in your BoldSign application.
