How to delete form fields while preparing a document?

BoldSign offers a variety of customizable form fields that can be dragged and dropped onto the document. If you mistakenly added a form field or want to remove a form field, you can delete it by using the delete option and shortcut key.

Follow the steps below to delete form fields while preparing a document:

  • Click Create New, go to Create New Document and you will be directed to the Prepare document for signing page.
  • Add files in the Add files section, Add recipients, and any other required fields.
  • Click Next to go to the Configure fields page.
  • On the configure fields page, drag and drop the required form fields to the document.
  • Once added, if you want to delete a form field, select the form field and right-click on it; a list of options will appear.
  • Select the Delete option and the form field will be deleted successfully.

  • Alternatively, you can use the Delete key on the keyboard to delete the form fields.
