How to create a template with SMS delivery option?

BoldSign supports the SMS delivery option for creating templates. However, the SMS delivery option is only available to paid plan users. Additionally, when using the templates for signature requests, you will incur an additional fee of $0.20 for each SMS sent. Recipients will receive notifications for signature requests via text messages on their mobile devices.
Follow the steps below to create a template with SMS delivery option:
- Click on
Create Newand select theCreate New Templateoption.
- You will be taken to the Prepare template page.
- Enter the template title in the Title field and the description in the Description field.
- Then, add files on the Add files section.
- On the Add Role(s) section, add Role and click the delivery options dropdown. The Email delivery mode will be enabled by default.
- Select the SMS delivery option. If you are a free plan user, the
Upgradeoption will be displayed. Click on that option to upgrade to a paid plan. - Once done, click the
Activatelink to activate the SMS feature.
- A dialog box will appear. Read the instructions and click the
Enablebutton. The SMS delivery feature will be activated successfully.
- Now, select the
SMSoption. In the recipient section, the recipient name and phone number columns will be displayed. - The recipient details can be added if necessary, or they can be added while using the template.
- Fill in any other required fields and click
Nextto go to the configure fields page. - Add the required fields and click the
Save templatebutton. Your template will be created successfully.
- When you use the template for signature requests, the signers will receive an SMS on their mobile devices. When the signer clicks on the link in the SMS message, they will be taken to the BoldSign app where they can review and sign the document electronically.
