Placeholder behavior and limitations
All placeholders in this email template are system‑generated. Their values are automatically populated by the system based on the document and signing configuration.
Signer name with specific order is the “only editable” placeholder
- When inserting this placeholder, you can specify a signer order number to control which signer’s name is displayed; by default, it displays the signer in position 1, and you can update the order number to display a different signer as needed.

If you specify a signer order number that does not exist, the system will automatically revert to the default email subject.

For example, if you enter signer order 5, but the document has only 4 signers, the default email subject will be used to prevent incorrect information from being displayed.

Customize email subject
In the Email subject field, modify the email subject line using the available placeholders.Sample subject line:

Using the editing tools, you can change the email body content’s font style, size, color, and alignment. Save changes
After editing, click the Save Changes button. You can also revert the email template to the original default version by clicking the Reset to Default button.
