Customize manual reminder email contents

This article explains how to customize the Manual Reminder email template, including modifying the subject line and body content of the email.

    How to add placeholders in the email template
    Use / or @ to insert a placeholder in the Email Subject editing area and Email Body Content edit area.

    What are the placeholders available for this email template?

Placeholder Description
Sender name Name of the sender
Sender email Email address of the sender
Recipient name Name of the recipient
Reminder message Reminder message content
Document link Link to sign the document
Document title Title of the document
Document expiry date Date the document is set to expire
  1. Customize email subject
    In the Email subject field, modify the email subject line using the available placeholders.

    Sample subject line:

    Reminder to sign the document {documentTitle}
    

    Sample email body:
    Using the editing tools, you can change the email body content’s font style, size, color, and alignment. You can also change the email body content sign link button text.

    Hello {recipientName},
    
    You have received a reminder from {senderName} ({senderEmail}) to sign the document "{documentTitle}" that is set to expire on {documentExpiryDate}
    
    Reminder message
    {reminderMessage}
    
    {Sign Now|{documentLink}}
    
    Thank you,
    {senderName}
    
    
  2. Save changes
    After editing, click the Save Changes button. You can also revert the email template to the original default version by clicking the Reset to Default button.
