HubSpot Admin Guide: Install and Connect BoldSign in HubSpot

The BoldSign and HubSpot integration enables you to send, track, and manage e-signature documents directly within HubSpot CRM. By connecting BoldSign, you can request signatures with reusable templates or one-time documents, with data automatically pulled from HubSpot properties for a fast, accurate, and efficient workflow.

Follow the steps below to set up and start using BoldSign with HubSpot:

Enable HubSpot in your BoldSign account

  • From the Dashboard page, expand the Settings menu and select Integration.
  • You will be taken to the Integration page, where a list of available integration applications is displayed.
  • Locate the HubSpot card and click Connect.

  • If your current plan does not support the HubSpot feature, an Upgrade option will appear on the HubSpot card. Click Upgrade to switch to a compatible plan.

  • If your organization is on a Custom Plan, the HubSpot card will display a Contact Support button instead of Connect.
  • Please contact the BoldSign Support Team, and once HubSpot is enabled for your account, you will be able to activate and use the integration normally.

  • The Connect HubSpot Feature dialog box will appear. Read the instructions and click Yes, Connect to activate and connect the feature.

  • After clicking Yes, Connect, you will be redirected to a new tab where you can complete the HubSpot ↔ BoldSign connection.

  • Log in to your HubSpot Account and select the HubSpot account you want to connect.

  • Review the requested permissions, check the acknowledgment checkbox, and then click Connect app to authorize HubSpot access to your BoldSign account.

  • Click Allow to authorize HubSpot access to your BoldSign account.

  • A HubSpot Super Admin should perform the installation for the best results.
  • Use the same email address for both BoldSign and HubSpot to ensure proper integration.
  • The admin should not disconnect the integration. If the integration is disconnected, BoldSign will no longer be able to update document statuses in HubSpot.
  • You will be automatically redirected to the BoldSign App Card inside HubSpot, where you can directly access the Manage Location option to enable the card for Contacts, Deals, and Companies

  • After completing the connection in the new tab, return to the BoldSign Integration page and refresh it.
  • The integration status will now correctly display as Connected.
  • Once connected, you can use HubSpot to your BoldSign account and manage your signature workflow directly from the HubSpot application. If needed, you can disconnect it later by clicking Disconnect on the HubSpot card.

Disconnect option

  • Now, you and your HubSpot team members will see the BoldSign app card in the right sidebar of HubSpot records.
  • From the BoldSign app card, your team members can connect their BoldSign account, send or create templates, send documents, view documents, or disconnect the integration as needed.
