HubSpot Admin Guide: Install and Connect BoldSign in HubSpot

The BoldSign and HubSpot integration enables you to send, track, and manage e-signature documents directly within HubSpot CRM. By connecting BoldSign, you can request signatures with reusable templates or one-time documents, with data automatically pulled from HubSpot properties for a fast, accurate, and efficient workflow.
Follow the steps below to set up and start using BoldSign with HubSpot:
Enable HubSpot in your BoldSign account
- From the Dashboard page, expand the
Settingsmenu and selectIntegration. - You will be taken to the Integration page, where a list of available integration applications is displayed.
- Locate the HubSpot card and click
Enable.
- If your current plan does not support the HubSpot feature, an Upgrade option will appear on the HubSpot card. Click
Upgradeto switch to a compatible plan.
- After upgrading, the Enable HubSpot Feature dialog box will appear. Read the instructions and click
Yes, Enableto activate the feature.
- Once enabled, you can connect HubSpot to your BoldSign account and manage your signature workflow directly from the HubSpot application. If needed, you can disable it later by clicking
Disableon the HubSpot card.
Install and Connect BoldSign in HubSpot
- Go to the BoldSign and HubSpot Integration page and click the
Connect Your Accountsbutton.
We are working on publishing the BoldSign integration on the HubSpot App Marketplace. Until then, please follow the manual installation and connection steps outlined in this guide.
- Log in to your
HubSpot Accountand select the HubSpot account you want to connect.
- Review the requested permissions, check the acknowledgment checkbox, and then click
Connect appto authorize HubSpot access to your BoldSign account.
- Once the HubSpot account is successfully connected, if prompted, enter your BoldSign login credentials to connect your BoldSign account.
- Click
Allowto authorize HubSpot access to your BoldSign account.
- A HubSpot Super Admin should perform the installation for the best results.
- Use the same email address for both BoldSign and HubSpot to ensure proper integration.
- The admin should not disconnect the integration. If the integration is disconnected, BoldSign will no longer be able to update document statuses in HubSpot.
- That’s it! You’ve successfully connected BoldSign with HubSpot CRM.
Set up the BoldSign App Card
- Go to your HubSpot account and click the
Settingsicon in the toolbar. - Under Account Management, select Integrations, then click
Connected Apps.
- Locate and click on the BoldSign App.
- Go to the App Cards tab.
- Click the
Manage Locationbutton to add the app card to Contacts, Deals, and Companies as needed.
- Thats it! You have successfully configured the BoldSign app card.
- Now, you and your HubSpot team members will see the
BoldSignapp card in the right sidebar of HubSpot records. - From the BoldSign app card, your team members can connect their BoldSign account, send or create templates, send documents, view documents, or disconnect the integration as needed.
