How to send signature requests using templates in HubSpot?

The BoldSign and HubSpot integration simplifies sending signature requests using templates directly within HubSpot CRM. By selecting a preconfigured template, you can quickly send documents with auto-populated data from HubSpot fields, ensuring a fast, accurate, and efficient signing process.

Follow the steps below to send a request using templates directly from HubSpot:

  • Log in to your HubSpot account.
  • Open the record from which you want to send the signature request using a template.
  • In the right navigation bar, locate the BoldSign app card.
  • Click Send Document.

  • On the Prepare document for signing page, click the Browse Templates button to choose your template.

  • Select the required template from the Choose from template dialog box and click Use.

  • You will be taken to the send template page.
  • In the Recipients section, specify the recipient’s details for each assigned role.
  • You can optionally add additional signers or add CCs.
  • Customize the message based on your needs and click Next to proceed to the configuration page.

  • If the record contains contact data, recipient information such as name and email, along with other mapped fields like company name or deal amount, will be automatically filled from HubSpot.
  • Review and adjust the form fields data to ensure accuracy before proceeding.
  • Once everything looks good, proceed to send the document for signature.

Send button

  • The document is sent successfully. Return to HubSpot.
