In BoldSign, when the delivery option is set to WhatsApp and a document is approaching its expiration date, recipients receive a notification through WhatsApp. The alert is sent to the WhatsApp number provided by the sender during the signing request setup. This keeps recipients informed about the upcoming expiration and allows them to complete any required actions, such as signing or reviewing the document, before access is lost.
Details included in the WhatsApp notification
- Document Title: The name of the document scheduled to expire.
- Sender Information: Displays the name and email address of the person who sent the request, helping recipients identify the source of the document.
- Scheduled Expiration Time: The exact time the document is set to expire.
- Signature request Link: A direct link to either sign or review the document, depending on the recipient’s role.
Notification pricing
- Each WhatsApp expiration warning notification incurs a charge of $0.10.
- The sender is charged for the notifications, not the recipients.
- Notifications are charged individually for each recipient.
