How to change the language for SMS signature requests in BoldSign?
BoldSign allows senders to deliver SMS signature requests in the signer’s preferred language, ensuring a localized experience. The currently supported languages are English, French, Norwegian, German, Spanish, Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Swedish, Japanese, Thai, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean. When sending the signature request, all the signer-related SMS notifications and signing page static contents will be translated into the signer’s defined language.
Change language for SMS signature request
Follow the steps below to localize and send a signature request via SMS:
- Click the
Create Newbutton and choose theCreate New Documentoption. - On the Prepare Document page, open the
DeliveryOptions dropdown. By default, the delivery mode is set toEmail. - Select the
SMSoption.
- When selecting the
SMSoption, the sender is required to input the recipient’s name and phone number. Make sure to select the correct country code and input the phone number in the appropriate field.
- Open the
Languagedropdown and select the recipient’s preferred language. For example, if you choose Traditional Chinese, the signer will receiveSMSnotifications in Traditional Chinese.
- Complete preparing your document as usual and proceed to send it for signature.
- Once sent, the signer will receive SMS message in the selected language. When the signer taps the link in the message, they will be directed to the BoldSign app to review and sign the document. The signing page UI content and form fields will also be displayed in the specified language, ensuring a fully localized signing experience.
