How to edit or update existing templates on the mobile app?

The BoldSign mobile app makes it easy to update your existing templates, whether you need to edit template details, replace files, adjust roles, or modify form fields. It ensures you can keep your templates accurate, organized, and ready for reuse anytime.

Follow the steps below to edit an existing template on the mobile app:

• Log in to your BoldSign mobile app.
• Tap the Templates icon to access all your templates, including the ones you created, and the ones shared with you.

• Alternatively, you can access the All Templates screen by tapping the Menu Bar at the top-left corner, expanding the Templates menu, and selecting All Templates.

• Tap the context menu of the template you want to edit and select the Edit template option.

• If you choose the Edit template option for a template created in the web app that contains features not currently supported in the mobile app, you will be prompted to open it in a browser to continue.

• If you choose the Edit template option for a template whose features are supported in the mobile app, you will be taken to the Prepare template screen, where you can update template details such as:
  • Title and Description
  • Files
  • Roles
  • Template settings
  • Document settings

• Tap the Configure fields button to go to the Configure Fields screen. Here, you can:
  • Update field settings
  • Add new form fields
  • Remove existing form fields based on your requirements

• After completing your edits, tap the Continue button at the top-right corner of the screen, then tap Save template to save all changes.
