Why is the signer's status showing "Waiting to be Sent"?

If a signer’s status shows the Waiting to be sent, the signature request has not yet been sent to that recipient.

This is expected behavior when Signing order is enabled. With signing order, recipients receive signature requests one at a time based on the configured signing sequence.

Why the status is “Waiting to be sent”?

When Signing order is enabled:

• Only the first recipient receives the signature request initially.
• Each recipient receives the request after the previous recipient completes their signing action.
• Recipients waiting for their turn display the Waiting to be sent status.

What happens next?

After the current signer completes their action:

• The signature request is automatically sent to the next recipient in the signing order.
• The recipient’s status is updated automatically.
• The signing workflow continues until all recipients have completed their required actions.

How can I send signature requests to all recipients at the same time?

To send signature requests to all recipients simultaneously, you must create and send a new document with Signing order disabled.

You can do this by:

1. Cloning the existing document.
2. Disabling the Signing order option.
3. Sending the new document.

If the original document is no longer required, you can delete it after sending the new document.

Recipients receive signature requests according to the configured signing sequence, and the Waiting to be sent status is automatically cleared when it is their turn to sign.
