How to disable the redirect URL after signing?

Published:

In BoldSign, disabling the redirect URL prevents signers from being redirected to an external webpage after completing the document signing process. Instead, signers remain on the default BoldSign completion page.

If a redirect URL configured at the brand level is later disabled, it will no longer be applied after signing. Only account administrators have permission to access and modify Branding settings.

Steps to disable the redirect URL

Follow the steps below to disable the redirect URL for a brand:

  • Go to Settings and select Branding.

Branding option

  • Locate the brand you want to update, click the context menu (⋮) on the right, and select Edit Brand.

Edit Brand

  • Scroll to the Advanced section, disable Redirect to URL on document completion, and click the Save changes in the top-right corner.

What happens after disabling the redirect URL?

  • If a document is created using a brand with the redirect URL disabled, signers will remain on the BoldSign completion page after completing the signing process.

  • Other document settings, notifications, and audit trails remain unaffected.
