1 min read

Yes, BoldSign supports two-factor authentication (2FA) to enhance the application’s security by requiring an additional layer of verification in addition to your username and password. When this feature is enabled, you will be prompted to enter a verification code sent to your chosen authentication method. If you have set up multiple authentication methods, you can select any one of them to receive the verification code. You can access the two-step authentication on the My profile page.

In BoldSign, the below two-step authentication methods are available:

  1. Authenticator app authentication
  2. Text messaging (SMS) authentication
  3. Recovery email authentication

Authenticator app authentication

In this method, you are required to scan the QR code using an authenticator app such as Google or Microsoft Authenticator. The verification code will be generated in the authenticator app; enter it in the designated field to log into your account.

Text messaging (SMS) authentication

In Text messaging authentication, you need to provide your mobile number for verification purposes. If this method is added, each time you log in to your account, you will be prompted to enter the verification code. Add the received code in the designated field to log into your account.
